Notes
DAT->CDR, very clean. However, there's an annoying buzz in the
amplification system for much of the show, and the levels are very low
for the first 40 seconds of "Night Falls on Hoboken". The taper's
mics sound as if they were brushed a few times in the stage patter
after "Last Days of Disco", totally overwhelming the right channel for
about 10 seconds. I converted this stretch to mono (from the left
channel).
Outstanding, layered-guitar version of "Point That Thing Somewhere
Else", with David Kilgour on vocals.
Really nice meander ends "The Crying of Lot G".
"Big Day Coming" is the slow version (de rigeur on this tour) and "Tom
Courtenay" is the semi-acoustic version with Georgia on vocals. Ira hums
"Ripple" <g>.
