Notes
A must-have show with great sound. Opens with a dreamy, 13-minute
"Looney Tunes", which tapers off into a quiet instrumental fragment of
"I Was The Fool Beside You For Too Long". The latter is swimmingly
echoey, the notes like minnows flitting from one end of a pool to
another. Of course this is just a cover while they prepare for the
onslaught of "From a Motel 6" (you can barely hear Ira setting up the
guitar loop, maybe his monitor getting picked up by his microphone?).
Georgia sings for a particularly playful semi-acoustic rendition of
"Tom Courtenay", excellent. Also a masterful "Heard You Looking" and
a fine "Heart's Reflection". Spacey outro to "Prisoners of Rock and
Roll".
A guy in the audience requests "between-song patter" (the band obliges).
