Notes
Yo La Tengo's trippy version of the Simpsons theme, played during the
end credits to a psychedelic backdrop (see Billboard
story). This 47-second version was broadcast in its entirety only
once that I'm aware of; it was cut substantially for the rerun.
From my own first-generation videotape; the master was lost (I
recorded the episode on my "temporary" tape and I copied this bit onto
another tape). A bit of hiss but nice stereo sound.
I have another version of this that I received as filler on the 9/5/98
Bumbershoot Festival disc; it has better fidelity (no tape hiss) but
is sadly missing the first 7 seconds.
